Here are some words from Jason Criddle that can be found on Quora. You will be able to find the original question that was asked of him in bold, before his response.
What you should be asking is:
“If I build a social network to help entrepreneurs find resources, would it be used?”
My answer?
Who are you? And why on earth would people believe your brand new social media site can help them?
You have only asked one question here… you have zero successes which can be searched out on Google. No one online knows who you are. From my chair, you look like any other unknown person who comes here to spread around spam.
Which is exactly what other people will think while not using your site as they pass it up and use LinkedIn or more reputable sources.
You need to spend some time becoming someone before anyone will take you or your site seriously.
